So, I’m not sure how long I walked on my journey… It could’ve been only ten minutes. Or maybe, it was even all day. Or even a week. Cause, it just seemed like time had just ceased to exist within this fog, this mist, which ebbed and flowed ahead of me on my journey. Still, eventually, I came to the clearing. Where she was, just as Gerry had promised me.
And she stood in the golden fog. In the same clearing where we once camped, years ago. So here she was now. In a summer dress, smiling, and staring up at the cool drizzle that was falling down around her.
And, at that very moment, I suddenly realized that I’d actually drowned upstream in this creek. Otherwise, how would I have just seen Uncle Gerry, who’d passed away, recently?
So I ran to KD. And we embraced in the golden fog and rain.
“What’s wrong?” she asked me, seeing my gravity.
“Am I dead?” I asked.
“Oh, no, you’re just here for awhile.”
“Well, I got my foot trapped back in that crack in the bottom of this here creek,” I explained. “And I couldn’t get it out. So I must’ve drowned, upstream. So now, I’m just dead and gone.”
“Oh, I’ll help you out..”
“How?”
“You’ll just have to come with me.”
“Where?”
“You will see. So, are you ready?” she just smiled, holding out her hand to me.
And when I took it, there was a break in the clouds above. Through which, a golden, magical column of sunlight came shining down upon us. Then, we were both drawn up into that light at blinding speeds.
Now that was just a whirlwind, a roller coaster ride, a mission in the Star Trek Enterprise going at full warp speed. Through stars, galaxies, and cosmos of psychedelic colors; and exquisite, flashing, stellar light beams. And then, in time, we arrived at our destination.
A green pasture of grass and wildflowers that somehow gave us life. Still waters. Which could heal. And fertile rolling hills in the distance.
An infinitely peaceful place, where she said nothing. But I heard everything.
You’ll be okay. I’ll save you. I just couldn’t go into the light without you.
And from those rolling hills, her dog, Bailey, who’d passed away years before, came running towards us. Then, she stopped. Sat down. And stared at us. And I saw tears streaming from KD’s eyes.
But now, three blue light beings also stood before us. While her dog, Bailey, who she loved more than anyone, sat behind them. And from Bailey, I felt a tidal wave of love surge forward, then inexorably wash backwards again, which drew KD right through the three light beings standing in front of me. And, as she passed right through them, she became a pure light being herself. Only somewhat human in a light shape.
And I could hear Bailey, speaking to her, telepathically.
I love you. I miss you. I’m your pet. We can be together again. Why’s Gary not coming? I love him.
This was all happening as waves of love surged through me drawing me forward. All emanating from a source. A man coming down from those rolling hills. A man in a white robe. A shepherd. And he was the one, who’d wipe all her tears away.
She’d lived a tough life. Of childhood abuse and abandonment. But I could feel the love from that man, melting the pain, the heartache away. So much so, that I wanted to be a part of that love and mercy. And the healing of all souls. Moreover, I just wanted to reunite with her dog Bailey, too. Who I loved, too.
So I tried stepping forward. But the three light beings stood in my way.
So I stared at each of them in turn. Asking the question.
How to heal the world?
And the answer came.
You must return to your body. Jesus heals through love, forgiveness, and gratitude-
And then, without warning, I suddenly found myself back in my body again. Still, trapped underneath the rushing waters of Hazel Creek. Drowning. Without the strength to even struggle for the surface anymore..
I had nothing left… I’m going to die.
And then, all I saw was darkness closing in on me. My vision going blank…
